The Vail Valley Partnership has announced its 2024 Chairman’s Award and Member of the Year as part of the 21st Annual Success Awards. The winners of those awards are, respectively, Gary Woodworth and Amy Yurcak

Chairman’s Award winner Gary Woodworth has called Eagle ¾Ã¾ÃÈȾ«Æ·ÊÓƵapp home for 45 years, during which time he has raised his family and built a career at The Gallegos Corporation that spans nearly 37 years, with the last 14 as the CEO. Woodworth currently serves on the Board of the Vail Valley Foundation, the Seasonal Employers Alliance, and supports the local community through many forms of engagement. Woodworth and his wife, Dacia, enjoy spending free time with their granddaughters, the outdoors and on high mountain trails on horseback throughout the summer and fall.

The Vail Valley Partnership Board of Governors has benefitted from Woodworth’s wisdom for the past 11 years. It would be enough if Woodworth had simply contributed from the perspective of his own industry; however, his knowledge and experience extend to issues faced by all Vail Valley businesses.

“It has truly been an honor to serve alongside Gary on the (Vail Valley Partnership) board, and although he will be missed, we truly appreciate his dedication to his business and our community,” Vail Valley Partnership Board Chair Mike Brown said.

Member of the Year Amy Yurcak, Area Managing Director and Broker Associate for Coldwell Banker Mountain Properties, supports all of the partnership’s efforts. She takes it upon herself to stay in the know and share that knowledge with all who may benefit — from the partnership’s after-hours mixers to important ballot initiatives. She not only supports the partnership’s mission, but fosters community everywhere she goes.

Her ability to connect with people is an invaluable asset to both the partnership and the community at large.

The Vail Valley Partnership will honor Woodworth, Yurcak and the others at the 21st Annual Success Awards & Community Celebration on Friday, May 10, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Riverwalk Theater in Edwards.
