As the Vail Valley transitions from ski season to spring’s rising temperatures, home sales across the region are on the rise as well.

In March, 92 homes sold, which was a 16% increase from the 79 homes sold in February. The median sale price was $1.755 million, down just 2% from February. The median list price was $1.693 million in February, down slightly from $1.845 million the previous month.

LIV Sotheby’s International Realty’s monthly market report data shows that total sales volume in the Vail Valley was $188,633,303 in March, down 6% from the sales volume seen in February. The sale-to-list price ratio rose slightly to 97% as sellers continue to receive very close to full asking price for their homes.
