Beyond The Bookshelf
This weeklong camp will revolve around a book club novel and a captivating theme that will ignite the imaginations of young readers. Campers will go on outdoor adventures (hikes/scavenger hunts/nature walks) inspired by the book’s setting, connecting literature to the beauty of the great outdoors. Campers will also participate in arts and crafts activities that bring scenes and characters from the novel to life. Essential reading and comprehension skills will be infused throughout.
