Elliott Wenzler, originally from Nashville, Tennessee, has lived in Colorado since 2019 and joined ¾Ã¾ÃÈȾ«Æ·ÊÓƵapp in 2023. She covers state politics for the Craig Daily Press, Glenwood Springs Post Independent, The Aspen Times, Sky-Hi News, Steamboat Pilot & Today, Summit Daily News and Vail Daily from her home base in Denver. Her beat includes the state Capitol and Colorado’s congressional delegation representing the Western Slope. Before her role with Swift, Elliott covered state politics for The Colorado Sun. Her first job in the state was for Colorado Community Media, where she covered local politics, business, features and more in Douglas ¾Ã¾ÃÈȾ«Æ·ÊÓƵapp. She’s interested in telling stories that give rich detail and necessary context to the issues that impact Coloradans lives. Outside of work, Elliott is an outdoor enthusiast with interest in just about every adventure sport the state has to offer. Her favorites are sport climbing and snowboarding.
